players the correct ways to play.

remaining two promo cards are awarded as Door Prizes to two

Commander
Launch Party
Date & Time:
Saturday, June
18th
1:00pm
Cost:
Purchase of a Commander
Deck
$29.99
Try out the newest
multiplayer product, Magic: The Gathering – Commander
in a fun, casual setting!
The Commander Launch Partiy will use an open play
format.
Players will be placed into game groups of 3-5 players.
All participants receive one of five different premium oversized
Legendary Creature promo card exclusive to the Launch Party (while
supplies last).
Magic: The Gathering
Commander will consist of
five different 100-card singleton decks.
Each deck will also include three premium oversized legendary
commander cards that can be used in lieu of the normal versions of
the cards (which are also in the deck).
The Magic: The Gathering Commander decks will each be
three "wedge" colors with corresponding new commanders.
"Wedge" is a term we use for three-color combinations
consisting of an allied pair and their shared enemy. Examples of
famous "wedge" cards are Lightning Angel ( )
and Doran, the Siege Tower ( ).
These combinations have been woefully short-supplied on legendary
creatures, so each deck contains the corresponding Planar Chaos
Dragon (such as Intet, the Dreamer) as well as two new
legendary commanders in those colors, plus oversized foil versions
of all three.
The 51 new cards will be legal in
Eternal formats (that's Vintage and Legacy), but they will not be
legal in Standard, Extended, or Block Constructed. |

Wednesday
Magic the Gathering League

Attention Players! Crimson Dragon Games will be holding a
Wednesday night Magic league event starting May 25th, ending on July 13th.
The tournaments will take place every Wednesday at 6:40pm. Entry Fee is $5
Dollars.
The format will be Pauper (Your deck must consist of all
commons with the exception of 5 Uncommon cards. This includes Lands. Cards
from Urza's Saga set and newer may be used.) This is to encourage players
with fewer cards or limited collections to compete, and level the playing
field. If the card was ever printed as a Common, but recently reprinted as
a Uncommon, you can still play it at the Common spot.
Each Wednesday night’s event will be 3 Swiss rounds, and
standings determined after that. If attendance reaches 16 or more for the
night, 4 rounds with a 5th round tie-breaker if needed.
Boosters will be awarded generously at the end of the league
based on final standings (Based on total Points). Each individual
tournament will award points based on standings.
1 Point for Entry
2 Points for 3rd or 4th place
3 Points for 2nd place
4 points for 1st place
Throughout the league, when you reach certain point Tiers,
you'll be awarded a pick from various Rares/Playsets.
Examples:
Upon reaching 5 points, you'll be given a choice of playsets
of several commonly played Commons/Uncommons. "Bulk" Rares will
also be for grabs.

similar value to Mimic Vat, Iona, and Grand Architect
Upon reaching 13 points, you'll get to pick from cards like
Linvala, Phyrexian Crusader,
and Ratchet Bomb
If you reach 17 points you'll get a choice from several Chase
Rares including Baneslayer Angel, Fetch Lands, and More.
At the end of the league, the person with the most points
will be awarded a....FREE JACE, THE MIND SCULPTOR. One more time. FREE
JACE, THE MIND SCULPTOR. Currently valued up to 110 Dollars. If there is a
tie for 1st, the tie will be broken by whoever has the most game wins.
Note: Not the best W/L Ratio, but the most game wins. Attending every week
counts, and play every game like it matters.
The last event for the league will have a special bonus as
well. It will be a draft, for DOUBLE POINTS. This draft will also include
a free lunch, Hot Dogs, Chips, Beverages, etc... The entry fee for the
draft is $18 Dollars, Unless...if you've made
the second points Tier you'll be allowed to enter for a third

event will be allowed to play each week, if you are not registered before
we have 32, you will NOT be allowed to compete. To register, please
respond to E-mail or speak with someone at Crimson Dragon Games -Before
